Tom—
I loved seeing your work, but I thought the bedroom was more Van Goghish!
Hope all goes well for you and your family. It’s hard to imagine both of you kids all grown with lives of your own.
BJ is 35 now, lives near Cheyenne and runs cattle for us. He is in a building project right now.
Elise & Corey have a 5 yr-old son-Michael, and 2 dogs, birds & fish. They live in an hour’s drive from Elk City in Weatherford OK and are busy & happy. She is an accountant; he a engineer/draftsman for a joist co.
Megan & Matt live in Wellston OK, about 2.5 hrs from here. They’ve built a small house themselves—after drilling a well, bulldozing a road, etc. Megan’s into vegetable gardening & wildflowers but is back in shcool this year & will get a pharmacy Phd in a couple of years.
Danny & I are same; he’s in tax season right now until Apr 17. I’m still at the library and do music things at church. All pretty humdrum. The Wrights are having a reunion this April 20-22 during Cheyenne’s Centennial/Old Settlers Celebration. Only one aunt is left but I think almost all of my generation is coming except for your mom and one cousin in TN.
Didn’t mean to run on so. Do hope the best for you & your fam.
Pat
Thanks for all the news, nice to hear everyone’s doing well. BJ’s running cattle in Oklahoma??? Holy smoke, people still do that? I thought cows came from the grocery store! Maybe he could teach me something, he certainly got me on the right track with computers back in the day.
Share my hellos with all. We’ll be welcoming our first lil baby in about 5 months.
Other than that, just hanging out in North Georgia with enough nature trails and vineyards around to soak up the time. Cheers.
