Fresh Clay Sculpture

I found this old photo of a portrait I sculpted back in UGA. I’ve got the finished plaster piece painted and hanging out around the house. I think I like the clay better. Was a favorite course taught by Prof Rocky Sapp. (www.williamrockysapp.com)

Tom Purcell Art - Untitled?

Time to upload another painting. Oil on canvas, fairly large (2×3ft approx). It’s a blend of images and symbols of life back in Athens, GA some years ago. Each with their own meaning, but everything superficial. I remember some gal once looked at it and said ‘thats retarded’ and I couldn’t disagree.
