Brief Bio

Grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland plus a few years in Germany on an army base. Elementary school was Montgomery County’s Cresthaven. During these years became best friends with a couple people and radio shack’s Tandy 2000 computer.

Attended Francis Scott Key Middle school. Picked up drawing from a few great kids there. Hosted my first phaccv BBS, WWIV. Ended up discovering MUDs, early text-based online games, reading old issues of Phrack, and working on ANSI art.

Packed it up with mom and headed south to Atlanta and spent high school years at Chattahoochee HS in Alpharetta. Kept at drawing and painting with aid from art teachers plus inspiring friends. I received a drawing tablet hand-me-down and played in Photoshop 0.0 and Autodesk painter and 3D STUDIO Animator for DOS. Created BBS ads in art groups, loaders (short animated advertisements of the BBS supplying the file) and modded many versions of BBS software. Got interested in modding games begining with DOOM and continuing up to Half-Life 1 and then the Battlefield 2 series. Texturing realistic surfaces for 3D models is my favorite aspect of the modding process and I’ve hopped in and out of this role many times for various mods over the past 10 years. Still an avid gamer, XBOX tag ‘chop em down’.

Graphic and web design both lend themselves well to my creative 2D skillset, and currently that is my primary role in Marketing at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort.

List of friends I’m trying to get back in touch with over the years… (In case any old mates have Googled themselves!)
